Bellwether 2019

Today’s Special

Curated by Ellen Ito

An interactive space around food, art and culture, Today’s Special plays with the history of the former café space it occupies within the museum, riffing on the restaurant tradition of a “daily special”—with an art-infused twist.

Visitors are invited to experience the art on view, sample a complimentary sweet treat, explore hands-on engagement materials, attend artist workshops and performances and join in community conversations.

Today’s Special is open Friday, September 13 - Sunday, September 15 and Wednesday, September 18 - Sunday, September 22, 11am - 5pm. See below for a schedule of events and happenings.
